The A6D time delay characteristics for handling harmless in-rush currents, its current limiting ability and wide range of ratings, give excellent protection for all your applications.
APPLICATIONS: Motors, Safety Switches, Transformers, Branch Circuit Protection, Disconnects, Control Panels, All General-purpose Circuits.
A2D and A6D fuses will open fast enough under short circuit conditions for maximum short circuit protection to prevent damage to motor starters, switches, and other circuit components, but are slow enough to provide the time delay for surge currents.
